9:30 AM  - Program - R. V. Thivierge-Rikard, MS – Locating Grants Funding Resources

 

R. V. Thivierge-Rikard, M.A.S.S., Grants Development Coordinator with the Wake County Public School System, presented an overview of online resources for researching grant funding opportunities , which included eCivis, Guidestar, The Foundation Center, The School Funding Center, and others. Anyone in the business of writing grants knows that one of the biggest challenges is finding a funding source that is well matched to your interests and needs.  RV's presentation and notes are available in Adobe Acrobat [PDF] format and attendees received a copy of the 10-page guide [Resources for Finding Grant Opportunities - MS Word Document] to online resources that Wake County Public School System maintains for finding, writing and managing grants.
